About Beehive Speech Pathology
About Me
Hi! My name is Brigette. I am the Speech Pathologist at Beehive Speech Pathology.
I am a paediatric speech pathologist with a passion for providing speech pathology support to children and their families using a person-centred and strengths based approach. I graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2018 and I am a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia. I have a clinical background providing speech pathology services across a range of settings, including private practice and the Department of Education in both mainstream and special schools.
Areas of practice that I am most passionate about include speech and language development, literacy, alternative and augmentative communication, social communication, participation and communication access in the school environment, and practices that affirm neurodiversity.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family, including my pet cat, Jason. I love losing myself in a good book, and my love of books also translates into my speech pathology practice. I enjoy watching the AFL footy (I'm a massive St.Kilda fan), listening to Taylor Swift, and I like to stay active through pilates and walking.
My additional training
I value evidence-based practice and curiousity, so I am always wanting to learn more. Most recently I have been upskilling in the areas of play and functional communication.

Service delivery
We currently provide sessions via a mobile service or telehealth.
We conduct sessions at home, school, kindergarten and in the community.
We use the Google Meet Platform for telehealth services.
Our current days of availability are Mondays and Fridays.
Where we service
We provide mobile appointments within 10-15km from our base in Moorabbin.
This includes (but is not limited to) the following areas:
- Kingston: Moorabbin, Clarinda, Cheltenham, Highett, Mentone, Dingley, Parkdale, Mordialloc
- Bayside: Hampton, Highett, Brighton, Beaumaris
- Glen Eira: Bentleigh East, Bentleigh, McKinnon, Ormond, Caulfield, Carnegie, Elsternwick, Glen Huntly
- Monash: Chadstone, Oakleigh, Mount Waverley, Mulgrave
Funding options
NDIS
We accept clients that are self-managed or plan-managed under
the NDIS.
Medicare
We accept clients that are Medicare funded.
Private
We accept private clients, including those claiming through private health insurance.
